The awards ceremony will start at 4:00 pm in Agassiz
Park, Calumet, for all events. There will be Heritage Days events in Agassiz Park (near the start area) featuring games, music and food. The Awards ceremony will follow about an hour after the conclusion of the Youth Races. Other Events and Amenities: The Heritage Celebration events will be going on in Agassiz Park (near the start area) featuring games, music and food. The Awards ceremony in Agassiz Park will follow at 4:00 pm after the conclusion of the Youth Races. Changing rooms and showers are located in the basement of the Calumet Colosseum (Red Jacket Road near Fourth). Please use the door on the West side of the building to access them. The Calumet Keweenaw Sportsmens Club has their expo the same day and there is a charge to enter it. Please use the main doors on the South side of the building to see the displays and visit their vendors. Registration includes $5 in “Bambo Bucks” accepted by approved restaurants and Heritage Celebration food vendors plus an insulated water bottle; those who register the day of the event will receive these deluxe water bottles on a first come first served basis until supplies are exhausted. 15-mile race: First-, second- and third-place medals (both male and female) will be awarded in the following age
divisions: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-
59, 60-69, 70+, and singlespeed (no age division).
The tandem division will have no gender or age
division. Plaques will be given to the top overall male and female finishers. 25-mile race: First-, second- and third-place medals (both male and female) will be awarded in the following age
divisions: 16 & under, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39,
40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+, and singlespeed (no age
division). The tandem division will have no gender or
age division. Plaques will be given to the top overall male
and female finishers. 4.5-mile race: First-, second- and third-place medals (both male and female) will be awarded in the following age
divisions:10 & under, 11-12, 13-14. Top overall male and female finishers will receive a
trophy or plaque. 3-mile race: First-, second- and third-place medals (both male and female) will be awarded in the following age
divisions: 8 &-under, 9-10. Top overall male and female finishers will receive a
trophy or plaque. Participant ribbons will be given to those in the 40-yard Fawn Chase (non-timed kid’s race) in Agassiz park, t-shirts
included (day-of-event entries subject to availability of
t-shirts). |
